Refiner plates for the Low Consistency refining |
LoCo Refining is developed by between 3% and 6% of consistency and application of energy between 50 and 250 kWh/ton, average turnover of 720 rpm and median intensity of refining. |
A continuous improvement enables us to optimize and perfect the process, in order to solve each situation as it arises. This mill analyses comprehensive application support with the top technology for any mill application. In addition we offer the broadest selection of patterns and alloys specifically engineered to maximize a mill´s results in the stock prep area. |

Refiner plates for the High Consistency refining |
HiCo Refining is developed by between 30% and 45% of consistency and application of energy between 200 and 400 kWh/ton, intensity of refining (IR) sparse and average turnover of 1800 rpm. |
Depending on the characteristics and quality of cellulose, produces compressed and spiraled fibers that result in greater resistance to elongation and stretching. |
Our plate design and alloys for mechanical pulping applications help you reduce the production cost of your refiner system by reducing energy requirements, improving pulp quality, increase refiner efficiency in high consistency paper, MDF, TMP, and other applications, extend the plate life and improve loadability. |
We can select from our inventory of designs or, if necessary custom design a plate for a particular requirement. Design recommendations are made following an audit of the mill operating parameters. |
Plate design is carefully considered along with all operating parameters and priorities for process improvement. |
We develop and improve alloys to meet your refiner plate needs leading to longer life. The alloys are specifically designed to solve plate issues including bar edge rounding and breakage, corrosion, serration and cavitation. |
